RMG Selects InfoPros as its Product Documentation Partner

RMG’s documentation challenge is that several times a year it has large software releases that require extensive updating of its product documentation library

DALLAS, TX—RMG Networks, a global leader in visual communication solutions and technology, has selected InfoPros to expand and support its library of product documentation. During non-peak periods, the work effort is considerably less.

This ebb and flow in the workload makes it difficult to handle with an in-house team; part of the time they need more people while at other times they need fewer. RMG decided that it required a partner that could assume responsibility for updating and maintaining its product documentation. In addition, the partner needed to have the technical knowledge and product experience necessary to minimize the involvement of RMG’s subject matter experts (i.e., product managers and engineers.)

After evaluating a number of potential partners, RMG selected InfoPros as its documentation partner; the InfoPros project team can scale up and down to adjust to the variable workload and InfoPros has the product experience and expertise that RMG requires. InfoPros is now working to both update the current product documentation and move much of it into an Online Help system. This will improve the user experience for RMG customers as well as drive down the cost of making updates.
