InfoPros to develop courseware for new TESCO training program

develop coursewareInstructor-led courses in design for new Catwalk equipment

Houston, TX—Continuing their long partnership, the TESCO Corporation has selected InfoPros to develop a training course to facilitate knowledge and proper operation of their new Catwalk equipment. The TESCO Automated Catwalk (TAC) enables drillers, on most any rig, to achieve time and money saving benefits.

With about 30% of rigs using a Catwalk system, TESCO is focused on the needs in the marketplace and selling and servicing equipment that brings speed and safety together.  The Catwalk system transfers casing between the pipe rack and the rig floor in the safest and most controlled manner possible.  It can be operated wirelessly with a remote or manually.

Realizing the benefits of the Catwalk equipment was the first step; training its field employees to utilize and service the equipment is the next phase.  For it’s expertise in training development, TESCO turned to InfoPros.  To develop the course content, TESCO will pair their subject matter experts with InfoPros experienced developers, powerful toolset, and consulting capabilities.  The team then determines the necessary training length for the instructor-led course.  InfoPros will develop a digital instructor guide, participant guide and a PowerPoint presentation as the complete suite of training documentation.

The InfoPros training development team has an extensive portfolio of training solutions. The project manager, instructional designers, and technical writers have the breadth and depth of experience sought after by companies in industries such as oil and gas, energy, healthcare, and technology.
